Perhaps. Though we don't know what Mariposan law had to say on this subject either.

I imagine it would be pretty strict, what with the Mariposans relying so much on cloning.

I dunno. Humans rely on pregnancy just as much but we aren't always that strict about ending it.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I think Nog had a replacement leg cloned for him, or something like that.

They called it bio-synthetic. Whatever that is supposed to mean.

I always assumed that they COULD clone body parts, but that would be like human harvesting, and Starfleet wouldn't do that. Which makes no sense considering their attitudes about other things.

I thought it was cloned. I think they said something about having to send him to a facility that could clone his leg. Bashir was able to create a prosthesis for half a Bajoran brain, I think he could've handled the leg on DS9. But cloning may need to be done at other facilities for legal reasons, like clone rights and all that.

Yeah I was pretty sure it was a cloned leg.
