Spoiler free Review from Trekmovie.com. Seems decent enough, and it should accomplish what they set out to do.

The review seems pretty consistent with the other stuff that I've heard.

Wow, that's a great review. I do disagree with him on one point; the music clip featured contradicts his complaint about Giacchino not using more familiar material. If you listen to it, it's very similar (and clearly a nod) to the music at the end of STII, when Spock's body is shot toward the Genesis Planet. Listen to that clip, then listen to the end of STII, and you'll see what I mean.
