Well that must be awkward. Gotta question the judgment to get married in the first place there, just on the grounds that apparently they didn't know one another too well.It's about to get REALLY awkward on "The Orville" ... because two of the show's stars are getting divorced just two months after tying the knot.
Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes met while shooting "The Orville" in 2017 and went public with their relationship in 2018.
36-year-old Adrianne plays Commander Kelly Grayson on the show, and 48-year-old Scott plays Lieutenant Gordon Malloy -- they're two of the main leads ... so a LOT of scenes together.
They got married in May 2019 in a small ceremony Austin -- but things obviously took a turn for the worse and on Monday, Adrianne filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
On the court docs obtained by TMZ, Adrianne lists the date of marriage as May 19 and says they separated on July 2.
She also notes the two have a prenup -- so the financial side of the split should be relatively easy. She cites irreconcilable differences for the break up.
What makes things even more awkward ... the two appeared at a panel together at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday ... though they didn't sit directly next to each other.
Hope they can continue to work together on the show. If not... wonder which one will wind up leaving? I'd think Gordon, he's not nearly as important to the show as Kelly is.
