If you could change one thing

Post by Mark »

If you violate the temporal prime directive and go back in time to convince Berman to change JUST ONE thing about Enterprise to make it better, what would it be?

Treat black people as equals. Give Merriweather some lines.

Forget giving Mayweather lines give them a whole new character. He was a poor character period.

Beside that I would change the fact that it ended. Wish it had a full 7 year run.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

The design of the ship, while it is not the biggest problem it is a glearing example of their lack of respect for the trek genra.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Have the ship named Dauntless.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

If I could travel back in time, I'm guessing I'd pick a number of winning lottery numbers.

Then, I'd try to fix Enterprise.

Oh, what would I fix? T'Pol and Hoshi's uniforms would've been invisible.

Invisible uniforms. I'd tell the actresses that we'd be adding the uniforms in during post-production.

If I could change one thing, it'd be to have Coto in charge from the get-go.

Two for Manny Coto from the get go. I'll join you and Mikey. If I could go back in time and only change Enterprise, I'd get Manny Coto in charge.

I think I'd have to go and have a chat with the writers, and explain the word "Continuity" to them
