I still haven't gotten through Part 1. Everything is terrible. The dialogue, the exposition, the characters, even the action scenes. Snyder is supposed to be good at action scenes. What happened?!

Part 2: think 'seven samurai' in space, where everything is slo-mo, storylines make no sense, a space faring culture appears to run on coal, and acting is lackluster...wow, I knew it was likely to be a stinker, but did not fully imagine the depth of awful that kept going and going....and might go onward to a part three as the ending screams of sequel setup.

God. I have to finish the first movie to continue with this saga...
