A damned fine tribute to both the character and actor.

I liked the idea of Nog. The characters introduction in DS9’s 2-parter “Emissary”. He started out as the atypical ferengi but the writers actually did the impossible. They laid out the gradual changes through multiple episodes, showing interactions with Jake and others humans as he aged, showed how his father wanted something better for his son and himself besides the normal ferengi life, and showed a adult nog who was akin to Worf. A ferengi by birth, but a starfleet cadet and developing officer by choice. It’s a wild ride to watch all the times we saw him on screen and the adjustments made to his performance to match his character. All the good actors and actresses are slowing disappearing from our world but the impact they leave behind will be here forever so long as we remember them and share those memories with others.
