Depending on the size of them, we may call them either sausages, or cocktail sausages.

I don't care what you call them; I love those things! Just a warning: never eat more than thirty at one sitting...

Mmmmmmmm... sausages. I love 'em. My in-laws get three different kinds of kolbasz (kielbasa) for Easter, plus sometimes my father-in-law's super-garlicky homemade. Bratwurst, Italian sausage - ESPECIALLY Jersey shore-style sausage sandwiches with boardwalk fries - I love 'em all.

I tried donkey sausage while I was in France (along with other exotic food such as Kangaroo steak, which one restaurant had for some reason). It tasted horrible.

I like Kangaroo if cooked well. Its a very flavorful meat.

I found it surprisingly nice. I only got it because of a bet, but I wouldn't mind having it again.

Exotic meats aren't as common in the US. One can get game, of course - boar, venison, rabbit, wild fowl - but other than that, you have to be in the right area. Snake is uncommon in my part of the country, and I had to travel to Louisiana before I was able to try alligator (taste somewhat like chicken, I hate to say, but a firmer more interesting texture.)
