Yeah I agree, I don't think it would have been a bad story arc at all. Its still an Earth based ship the story is following around so what if they had help from a few other races. The Xindi would probably come in in a surprise fleet to help win a battle.

From the way Enterpirse showed it I doubt Earth would have been able to field enough warships to put up a fight. They only had 10 years and they were only spitting out a few ships a year. Crap ships at that. The NX class couldnt stand up to any of the other powers.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

which is why it would probably have been an Earth led fleet of the races that would eventually make the federation possible.

Which would make it crap in my opinion. Earth needs to show it can fight for itself not be helped by others. We need to be respected.

I agree with Teaos there (spooky...).
The show was about humanity striking out amongst the stars for the first time, and learning to defend itself.

You two have got to stop agreeing with each other... you're starting to freak me out...

Anyway, Earth/Humanity would have to step up to the plate one way or another. There must be a reason that the Earth-Romulan War was called that rather than the Allies-Romulan War or some such.
