Just a brainstorm.......I don't much like the idea of extra lives either. Maybe we could each play 2 different characters to "enhance" game play?

And another spooky background setting would be a subspace relay station. We find the only shuttle sabotaged, and instead of a founder, can have a surgically altered "trek" baddie, like a Cardie or Romulan.

Just a couple of random thoughts.

Also, I may be ready to take a turn moderating after Teaos. I'd like to play one more game to work out the kinks.

Good ideas. The multiple lives is a bad idea since we have so many interested folks. It seems to complicate things quite a bit. Glad to see others interested in moderating. It's fun and educational - you get to see who's posturing and who's just confused all to hell.

After a couple more, i might be interested in moderating, just how do you select who is what?

Some sort of randomization. Using dice or playing cards is a safe bet. There are dice-rolling programs online.

First I assigned everyone a number between 1-8. Then I rolled an 8-sided die for each role; Founder 1, Founder 2, scientist, and the rest are innocents. There were only 7 people so I rerolled if I got an 8.

Another interesting backdrop would have all of us trapped in a holodeck, wouldn't you say?

I liked the surgically altered Romulan/cardie idea.

I'd like to do this again, but with school starting and my crazy fall schedule I probably won't be able to. Maybe round 3. :-)

same here, that would be fun. School is starting for me too, but I may be able to play in, but only really late at night, and on weekends, but i'll definetly be on.

I'm back to school, but i normally have a little time in the evening. But my GCSE's will be starting in this year/next year so my time will get less available.
