Well it is a dress uniform. The USMC officers dress uniform includes a sword but no one would seriously suggest that they use it in combat.

The Mamaluke Sword is an important symbol for the jarheads.

Re: UES Longbow
Sorry, I spelled it wrong. It should read "Mameluke" sword, the weapon of the Mamluk warriors. One was presented by Prince Hamet to Lt. O'Bannon after the First Barbary War; the eagle-hilted version was modeled on that one, and worn by USMC officers since.
Or was the head-banging because you prefer "leatherneck" to "jarhead?"

Interesting Designs Graham but I notice in you CIWS Picture that the man standing beside it seems to be over 1 km tall when compared with the scale. I assume the Cannon is to scale while the man isn't or is scale given incorrect?

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Um, how so? The scale says 1 m, which is 1 metre...KuvahMagh wrote:Interesting Designs Graham but I notice in you CIWS Picture that the man standing beside it seems to be over 1 km tall when compared with the scale. I assume the Cannon is to scale while the man isn't or is scale given incorrect?
