Sorry but all I could think of was you saying that somber, like Picard saying "the borg won't stay on deck 16" in FC :)

I knew that - I thought I was avoiding hotlinking by using a text link rather than inserting it as an image. I'll just take the links out then. Er, and I guess you two should as well.

True, though - for having the (basically) same saucer section, I would have imagined that the Neb's bridge would be similar to the coffeehouse that passed for the GCS bridge.

They typically redressed the battle bridge set for other bridges. A money thing, I guess.

I never liked the smaller view screen on the battle bridge. It seems like they were going for a more submarine look, but I'd have thought a battle bridge would have had a bigger screen - possibly with tactical overlays.

They wanted a more cramped feel to it I guess, but it's rather silly. It's not like the ship is short on space, they could make the bridges ten times bigger easily if they wanted to.

Yeah, we could have room for the hot tub for those double shifts, a fooseball table for those boring weeks at warp, and a floor to ceiling/wall to wall viewscreen for the inflight movies (ie porn)

I never quite got how they managed without a tactical plot, we saw one in TWOK but have seen squat since. I was always hoping to see something like the WH40K holoplot in the center of the bridge.

Yhey obviously have the tech - but why use it for something useful when you can relegate it to little holo-figurines in Riker's quarters?
