In what terms should we think for this universe? astronomical units, being solar system centered, or at a galaxy like scale, or even larger?

How would an averege ship of this universe fare against say, Voyager, TOS enterprise or Enterprise-D?

galaxy scale.

TOS enterprise: most warships would have little trouble.

Voyager: Needs the power of a Light cruiser upwards.

E-D: Would need a dreadnaught.
