This is definitely true.

The second battle of Chintoka we saw a couple of destroyed D'deridex ships. But that is about it.

But I don't think the 2nd battle of Chintoka really counts to determine the power scale of a ship, with that nasty energy dampening weapon.

Well I think that's it. Come to think of it, do we really see any of the D'Deridex class ships actually fight in the war? We see them in fleet scenes but never fighting.

No, for the most part we hardly even see them fire, let alone show any good fighting.

Does the D'Deridex class blow up real nice? Like a Galaxy class vessel infected by a computer virus?

We've only seen it in th Chin'toka. Oddly enough, where a lot of the Federation ships were almost falling apart, the D'Deridex was still in one fairly solid piece..

...Admittedly, it was burning rather a lot, but still.

Can't remember the scenes of the D'Deridex getting damaged. Been so long since I've seen any DS9.

The scene where Defiant gets destroyed there is a D'Deridex burning with a bunch of holes in it. Incidently, same scene there is a Galaxy destroyed with a missing saucer.

Then the rest of that scene just seems to be...well, starship bits is the most accurate if crude description. Only the Defiant, The Double-D and the Galaxy have any section of hull in one piece. The Defiant and the Double-D look to be faring a little bit better.

I wouldn't call that Galaxy intact. It looks like the whole saucer was destroyed. Maybe the ship was trying to seperate and was destroyed?

I was only watching from a Youtube clip, I couldn't see all the ships in the background.

Whether it be not wearing glasses, or poor video quality i dont know...

Maybe it was an early design GCS and separated before entering the battle?
