I don't think we can automatically assume that it would fail.

plus, I think we can assume that the Klingon's have vastly more resources, they could waste an assault and still have enough man power to take them down.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The biggest threat is the Aquatics. Their ships are monsters in battle. Only the support of the Sphere Builders was able to slow them down.

I honestly don't remember seeing the Aquatic ships in battle. :?

another case of Tsuki's fortunate amnesia of ENT.

After the weapon is launched the Aquatics, Arboreals, and Primates all attacked it...An aquatic ship actually carries Enterprise.

I seriously must've missed that episode; I was looking forward to seeing the Aquatic ship in action...

I do remember it carrying Enterprise, though. :?

Maybe I was in the can, or going to get another can of beer.

I do believe all we saw of it in battle was it being torn apart from the... bubbly anomaly thingy.

Agreed, but to determine if they'd be a credible threat to stop the Klingons we'd have to know an approximate number of those ships available. We don't.

true, and actually we saw it shooting at the cube some....as it shielded Enterprise....IIRC it destroyed a reptilian ship in a single shot, though we don't know the extent of damage to the ship before.

It's just before the sphere enters the portal thingy, all the ships are targeting enterprise, and all of the sudden you see one of the aquatic ships fly up from beneath them directly in between the reptilians and Enterprise, then it shoots one and it blows up.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like I need to watch ENT again. :?
