DoW is ridiculously unballanced when it comes to the tau or the necrons. Hopefully the new game will remedy that.
Then again, necrons are supposed to be unbelievebly tough in the novels. IIRC, one warrior walked through a 7 gigajoule laser fence and it had no real effect on him.

I had a feeling you'd like them. :)

I don't really know why, it's just a gut instinct I had.

The Tau on table top are much more fun then Tau in DOW. Tau in DOW annoy me. Their Broadsides suck but they have way to many Stealths. Their Fire Warriors are so cracked its not even funny. So anyone who wants to win just builds the full 80 Stealths with fusion blasters (on all of them  ) and just goes buck wild.

The Necrons are best beaten by slow heavy weapons units. You can kill them off faster then they res you're good. My fav in DOW though has to be the Orks.

I hate the Orks.

The ones that scare me the most, aren't The Chaos, arent even the Dark eldars. Its the Witchunters/Sisters of battle , Adepta Sororitas. i cant remember which spelling is correct. Their fanaticism is just too far. And the Sisters Repentia, now THAT is over the top.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
