That would be interesting, yes.

I don't use spell-checker either, although this new keyboard of mine is giving me slight fits.

First of all, I can say that I am RP-ing myself in the Daystrom's RP. In the same way I need to 'thaw' before I can partiipate in something new, which can take from 3 days until like 2 years. One of the mottos the few friends I have conceived is: "More than meets the eye."

Point being, you'll get to know me as I get to loosen up more and more.

So, whiskey, or WD-40?

That would be WD-40, as I have a bet with some friends of mine which consists of not consuming any alcohol at all. It has been going on for about 9 months now. And I can do everything people do when they are drunk, I just don't need the alcohol. In fact, I once managed to use theine in an overdosis, accidentally. In short, tea is sufficient for me to comfort me.

In related news, I had two birthday parties at the house for my daughter Saturday - one for her school friends, one for our families. Regarding Shran's comment, I was introduced to Land Shark Lager, and drank from two until 11.

She just turned 4. I merely started with afew casual drinks with other parents. It wasn't until the in-laws showed that we started on the beer pong and flip-cup.

I'm much the same off the computer as on. Probably the biggest difference is Star Trek in general. I don't know if you guys have noticed or not, but it can be quite a social stigma. So, I am a "closet" ST fan, and I only really talk about it with my wife and one of my brothers who is similarly inclined (And of course, the wonderful community at DITL. Don't know why I didn't join the forums years ago when I started reading the site!).

Other than that, I tend to speak from a more limited vernacular than I do on line. I think I would sound like an a**hole if I spoke like I write. I don't know why that is.

It takes people time to tell when I'm joking, so at first when I meet people I get a lot of wierd looks. I've been told it's because I can say outrageous things without looking any less calm or serious than I was the moment before.

Yeah I'm a bit of a closet ST fan, only a few people know I'm a fan, and none of them know I'm a member of a ST forum :P

I don't think people in general know that I'm a Trek fan, but that's only because it's never come up in conversation before.
