Once KJA got involved we may as well have burned the EU down.
KJA, compared to Traviss, Denning... wrote Shakespeare. The JAT and YJK are each about a billion times better than the NJO/DNT/LOTF crap.

I agree but when KJA got involved it was the start of the descent into crap.

Have to disagree. He did some damned good stuff. Redemption from the TOTJ? And the YJK established the next generation and gave them some good credibility. Luke was pitch-perfect as well in that series.

TOTJ? Not familiar with that one. And isn't YJK the series for kids? I'm an adult, so I wouldn't be reading that anyways.

TOTJ=Tales of the Jedi, the first SW series set far back, about 4-5,000 years before Yavin.

I'm 29 years old, gonna be 30 in October, and i still love the YJK and reread the series, getting something new out of it each time.

May have been written for kids-teens, but still good and a hell of a lot better than it had any right to be. And immeasurably better than the NJO/DNT/LOTF trilogy of suck.

Never read either of those, myself. The only things I know about KJA's writing, I know from the incredible suckitude of the Jedi Acadamy Trilogy, and Darksaber.

Dang, and I like the JAT. :) Darksaber, yeah. Not the best Bantam-era novel... Makes you wonder what Daala and Janeway would say to each other if they had the opportunity. ;)

The amount of idiocy in the room would cause the universe to collapse on it's self.

and +2 respect to you for respecting that I like it in the first place and not hating me/thinking I'm an idiot for liking it. :)
