Well we finally finished working on our 'old' house and put it on the letting market. It let within a week and they move in on the 2nd of April. At over £2000/month for three years it should make it all worth while.

Contracted within a week? Either you've got a very thin housing market, or you did some real good work to your place. I trust you have somewhere to live for yourself?

We did a pretty good job and it's in one one of the best areas of Oxford, and yes, we had my father-in-laws place done up.

Good, because it'd be a bit of a chore to run DITL from the street. ;)

A Pub.....or a strip club :)

Then I get to episode 11, The Rescue, and they're all friends! The Doctor even tells Vicki, "Don't be that way, Barbara's nice."

I just wish there were more complete series of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton.

God, maybe I should watch Dr Who. I've never seen a single episode.

I'll likely give it a go. I got intro'd to B5 and SG on here.

Where should I start?

There are a few threads trying to answer that question in the DW forum which are worth a read through. It depends on your aim - to get into the original run through DVDs/downloads, or to start watching the current run. If it's the latter then Rose is your best bet, given that it was intended to bring in new viewers in addition to relieving 16-year-old withdrawal symptoms. If it's the former then there are a bunch of good serials if you can get your hands on them - The Chase, Tomb of the Cybermen, The Three Doctors, Genesis of the Daleks, Earthshock, Pyramids of Mars, Caves of Androzani, Attack of the Cybermen, Remembrance of the Daleks, The Curse of Fenric, to name an episode or two from each of the Doctors.
