That sucks. I always buy my food at a nearby shop, as it's much cheaper.
My suggestion would be to shove some stuff in a backpack and bring it in that way.

Hell no. Then who would buy the $6 box of Raisinets, or the tiny bag of $5 popcorn? Or the $4 small soda, for that matter? :bangwall:

Wow, that's some serious ripping off. Small drinks are only €2 over here. €1.35 if you buy them in the shop along the way.

How much does a ticket in actualy cost?

Me and the Wife go to the movies.

Tickets: $20
Cokes: $9
Popcorn: $5
Candy: $5

Two people to go to the movies costs $39. I could buy two new releases and a golden oldie for that. Alternately that's two months of a Netflix membership and a spindle of DVR's. Yeah, online piracy is what's killing the movie industry.

I do feel compelled to point out that due to distributors demanding 100 to 125% of box office receipts for a film the only place a theater can make money is the concession stand.

€9.85 over here. So I think we pay slightly more.
