There are many bits of subtle humor, to wit:
I loved the Battle of Wits scene with the small tube of 'Iocaine powder' which was odorless and colorless. Then Prince Humperdink arrives a short time later, looks at and then sniffs the tube, and boldly declares, "Iocaine Powder, I'd stake my life on it..."
And of course, the minister... "Mawiage..."
This movie rocks from top to bottom, inside and out... Definate A+, Thumbs Up, 5 Stars, and so on...

Grand Nagus Zek makes an appearance in that novel and Peter David and John de Lancie worked in that Battle of Wits scene with appropriate modifications.
