Ring Nacelles of Vulcan ships.

When we saw the Vahklas we saw a clear progression toward the ring nacelles. If you try looking back from the Vahklas, can anyone else see similarities with the Defiant. I.E single small hull with nacelles bolted to the side. Does anyone else see te possibilty for Federation ships to progress in the...

for me it would be the Excelsior because it just looks smooth and well-finished yet precise and well-balanced. The Connie comes damned close though. I hate the Galaxy because its nacelle truts deviate from every other ship of this line (I.E non-diagonal) and i kind of think the Sovereign is kinda......

I would think that if a vessel was civilian then the captain, who owns it (If not owned by a company), has the right to equip it with whatever he sees fit to equip it with. Unless there is a law against it, i would see no problem with a freighter with a cloaking device even if you could get one. I a...

Simply put, i would construct my vessels in a almost flatpack way. Make the sections of the hull are interchangable to make replacing entire hull sections easier. I also think that if the Navigational deflectors are damaged there should be a Redundant Secondary & Possibly Tertiary deflector arra...

Hi, kinda new to posting but oh well. Back to the subject. I would take starfleet and decommission the aging TMP era vessels such as Miranda's, Excelsior's and Centaur's. Then use the raw resources of their construction to build up a new fleet of ships to replace them. Give the designers the chance ...

Just out of interest, why do you need fire? Does it have any variance on developing warp drive? Just because we found out how to make fire doesn't mean that without that knowledge, we cant make the atomic bomb? Or, cure cancer. And anyway, did not the shark evolve from a stupid sea creature to a eff...

I know this my not have much varience (Escuse me if spelling is wrong. Im blonde) but when the delta flyer was fitted with a transwarp coil, it was about as big as a large tankard. Their should be sufficient space for a small tankard to be fitted even in a small little shuttle. __________________ &q...
