Picard claims to have graduated in the class of 27, and that the incident with the Nausicaans occurred thirty years ago. In first season episode "The Neutral Zone", Data claimed that the current date was 2364. So at the time of this episode in season six, it should be 2369. Which dates the incident on the station to 2339. So either Picard rounded his "thirty years" an awful lot - "forty years" would have been closer - or he waited twelve years between graduating and getting his first deep space assignment!
Great Moment :
Picard laughing to himself when he gets stabbed through the heart.
Body Count :
Picard, sort of!
Factoid :
This is the first Q episode since "Encounter at Farpoint" without Q in the title, something that would only ever be done once again in Voyager's "Death Wish".

Plotline

Picard, apparently killed in a firefight, meets Q in the afterlife and is offered a chance to correct some mistakes in his early career. But can he stop his life from unravelling when he pulls on a single thread?
