Why doesn't DS9 have weapon detectors like Starships do? Odo always seems very keen on the whole no-weapons-allowed thing, you would think those alarms we saw in Star Trek VI would be quite useful. Yet somebody gets vapourised in this episode, and no alarm sounds.

Plotline

Odo finds himself falling for a mysterious woman who is involved with a crime syndicate.
